I only have exactly three weeks left till I finally graduate college!! But in the mean time I’ve been just preparing and living life…

I’m an avid anime fan and about two weeks ago I went to an anime convention! The anime conventions are pretty fun, depending on whom you go with. I went with a few friends of mines and I ended running into two other friends from school while I was there.

I mostly go to anime conventions to go see the voice actors and the different panels. I usually don’t have hundreds of dollars to spend in the dealer’s room. Frankly, I don’t have enough room in my room for more stuff so I try and avoid buying things in there as much as possible.

Till next post :)
oh my wheesung

Its been awhile since I’ve blogged I have good reasons for my absent!

I took a mini-vacation to So-cal, Los Angeles last week. It was definitely a much-needed vacation from dull boring Houston. In addition to having the time of my life…I came back home totally smitten…it wasn’t over Wheesung either…

I left home late Thursday and I arrived in LA close to 10 p.m.  Two of my friends came and picked me up from LAX and then we drove back over to her house. We meant up with two other friends from the Korea Krew and then we went out to get a late dinner and some pool. It was pretty late by the time we got back to my friend’s casa. That was night one of my time in Los Angeles.

I'm currently on spring break right now which is so freaking AWESOME! No school or work for the next week!

It's been a hectic these past few weeks, I've made two trips to Huntsville to take care of some business, and been working at school, in addition to doing work for class. I had been working on this project for freeman-asia that was due last year, but they gave me an extension. I had also been working on applying for the scholarship from the Korea Society. I haven't been exactly just sitting around down nothing...

I usually spend some time with friends on the weekends...I thought that I was going to have time to rest this Saturday but I had to watch my little cousin who is 15 months and full of energy!

Today I treated myself...I went shopping, and it was nice got some good deals. I don't care what people say every girl loves shopping and it does make a girl feel hella good!

Time for the real post....

K-pop where is it going?  )

That's all folks...hopefully soon I can get started on my fanfics and get them done!

Sometimes I wish...

my words my soul
Sometimes I wish...

-that I were finished with college already...its been over 71/2 years and I'm still working on my undergraduate degree :(

-I had a job in criminal justice already...

-I had a boyfriend/close male friend :(

-I had a vehicle.

-I would have more confidence in myself and my abilities.

-I were back in South Korea (at least people there noticed me)

-that people would stop trying to talk on their phones and drive this drives me absolutely insane especially when I'm driving or riding behind someone doing this whether it be driving or walking or being a passenger.

-that people would stop being so careless about texting and multi-task while driving, I care for my life I wish that they would have consideration about others and if they need to text someone that bad then they should just stop and pull-over!

-my family and I were closer and actually did things together

-that I have more money so that I could afford health care and could go to the doctor whenever I needed too

-that my friends would stop always saying they cannot do something...how can not do something if you don't even try?!

-that my friends would have more confidence in themselves as well.

-that people wouldn't take me for granted.

-I would have majored in something else such a psychology, I seem to be really good at listening to other people's problems!

-that I would speak up for myself more.

-that I would learn to just say "No"

-that I could meet Wheesung and get it over with!

-that people would stop judging people based on their race.

-that people would stop seeing me as "black girl" first, then a person second!

-that my mother would try and make a better life for herself.

-that my dad would come home from Iraq.

-that I would be more grateful for everything that my mother does for my brothers and myself.

-that people would just stop shut-up and listen!

-that people wouldn't be so damn opinionated about everything, your two cents isn't needed on everything!

-that I wasn't into Korean culture.

-that technology wouldn't pull people apart from one another (the internet has made the world smaller and people lazier)

-that people would just call instead of messaging on facebook or myspace.

-that social networking sites such a myspace didn't exist.

-that I was a better writer, I really have a passion for writing.

-that I could fly.

-that I could be an animal (penguin perhaps)

With all that said...I will try and achieve these things in the coming future!

Have you ever spontaneously hugged someone you didn't know? Or received an unexpected embrace from a stranger?

Yes one of the first times I ever hugged a stranger was while I was in South Korea, while I was shopping with some friends, there was this really cute lady standing in the middle of the street, and she had this free hugs sign so I went up to her and hugged her. Not sure if that counts though! That was my first time ever seeing a "Free Hugs" sign, I continued to see this at various times in Korea!

What's keeping you from your dream job?

Damn unpaid credit cards...Since the government started implementing strict credit guidelines, I can't work any federal jobs and it sucks so bad, that means I can't even get any internships :(
